Her Term

Moved Georgia from 48th to 34th nationally for women in office, with the donor base up 50%+.

The Work

Our strategy work covered vision and goal setting, organizational planning, positioning, audience segmentation and insight, messaging platform, and marketing and budget planning. On the execution side, we supported the marketing operation — social, collateral, communications, email, and CRM — alongside event support, annual report writing and design, executive communications, and direct candidate campaign support. Diademme's founder joined Her Term as a volunteer advisor in 2020 and has supported every cycle since, now serving as board chair.

The Situation

Her Term was built on a data advantage — identifying flippable seats before the party was, recruiting candidates, and equipping them to win. It worked. By 2020 the party had caught up, redistricting had shrunk the pool of available seats, and the candidate support gaps Her Term had spent years filling were being addressed by national organizations flooding into Georgia. Her Term could now decide: where will we focus our resources next?

The Results

83% of budget allocated directly to program.
Donor base grew 50%+ in the 2021–2022 cycle.
Leadership Council raised $50,000+ — the most successful fundraising event in Her Term history.
Women in the Georgia Statehouse reached a historic high of 34.7%, moving the state from 48th to 34th nationally.
Seven Democratic women elected, including two flipped seats — and for the first time in Georgia history, a woman ran in the primary for all ten statewide seats.
