The Life and Death Coach

A sharpened positioning and a rebuilt website behind three retainer clients signed in her first six months.

The Work

We started with a full-day commercial session in Charleston, preceded by industry and competitive research. Together we built a complete commercial plan covering positioning, product mix, pricing, target audience, and a prioritized DIY roadmap. The most important output was a sharpened positioning: the credibility of a therapist, the flexibility of a coach, and her rare ability to hold both sides of the human experience. When she landed her first client in December, we applied that positioning to her website — new copy, UX and design enhancements, ADA and site speed improvements, and a full SEO foundations package including keyword research, metadata, Google Analytics, Search Console, and a reporting dashboard she owns.

The Situation

Merridith Crowe spent years leading mission-driven organizations, most recently as President & CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lowcountry. When she stepped away to launch The Life & Death Coach, a practice bridging life coaching and end-of-life support, she arrived with $3,000, a clear calling, and a question: where do I start? She wanted to spend 2026 marketing her way to a full roster by 2027. The vision was sound. The commercial foundation wasn't yet built.

The Results

Three retainer clients signed by April 2026 — tracking ahead of her 2027 goals.
First client signed within weeks of the initial engagement.
Go-to-market ready with a DIY roadmap she continues to execute.
Website enhanced with new positioning, copy, design, and SEO integrations.
